It isn't about any mystery, the question of "who dun it". It's about difficult, and worse, situations getting figured out... finding a solution. It's about resolving the wrong and there being justice for the wronged ( although that isn't always the case ). It's the seeking of making some sort of sense out of chaos and horror in a real world where chaos reigns and rarely there is a resolution... rarely justice... rarely an end.
It's also about the interactions between the "good guy" characters being "good communication".... something that now seldom happens in the real world and a world of nothing even remotely close to altruism/selflessness.
I am SO jaded !!!
Maybe I should switch to scifi ( no hyphen ... LoL ) and truly dive into fantasy !!! :)
