Thanks for the mention! I voted Thursday! Friday is fish day, and sandwiches should definitely be somewhere mid-week to bring some fun to the workweek. At lunch! Cool newsletter as always.

I tried the link and follow the link and all.... I am not good at that stuff !

I did see that Friday and Sunday both got 50% rankings. I am putting my choice here because it comes with explanation......

I choose Sunday. When I was little, Sundays were special. It was "go to church day", but it was more than that. It was the day that my parents and sister and I were all home together ( although sometimes Dad had to go care take a camp or two for a couple of hours ). It was also that day that Dad was in charge of making supper. He made either cinnamon roles and pancakes or Swiss Steak.... I think that was all he knew how to make, but both were always delicious ! But my point is that as Dad made supper, my sister and I would help and it was a family thing.

So.... I am picturing you and yours on Sunday evenings... everyone busy assembling all the ingredients and utensils.... laughter, talking, and an over all good times. As a tradition, the kids would have wonderful memories for a life time !!!!

I couldn't provide this for my own kids as I worked a job that consistently had me working evening shift, including every Sunday.

As for forgiving yourself.... Oh, peshaw !!!! You will make more and better memories, and have a better time, creating the sandwiches at home with the family !!!! LoL <3

Aw I love these memories! Sunday nights were "Dad Cooks" night for me growing up as well. He usually made breakfast for dinner, or he grilled hamburgers -- both equally delicious, and it was a fun relaxed feel, a wind-down from the weekend and cozy family time. I like it -- could be carrying over into SUNDAY SANDWICH NIGHT!
