At 11 years old, you consciously thought about making "a choice that was perfectly mine".... you actually thought about "if, in the space defined as good, there was room for me" and consciously sought an answer ??? Or are you just remembering and recognizing now that that was what you were doing ? Either way..... all I am going to say is WoW !!!
Somehow... I missed that presentation. And I'm sad that I did. I remember one of those homeschool fair things.... We might have even been at this same one. We had to feature a person from history.... and I chose Davy Crockett... I'm 13 or 14 years old wearing a coon skin hat and faux buckskin, sporting a powder horn and long buffalo (cap gun) rifle. Needless to say, my booth was extremely crowded ;-).
